This weekend, saturday june 6th and june 7th, we'll be playing at the Gothic & Fantasy fair in the Rijnhal in Arnhem. We'll be playing 4 times in total!! Each day we'll be playing at 12.00 and 15.00. We'll be sharing the stage with a fun folkband from Eindhoven the Folcaholics and the beautiful dancers of TribAlways. Come see us at one of our four shows.

Saturday may 16th, Ametheon will play the Haagsch Kelt & Gothic Festijn on Spuiplein in the Hague. We will perform twice on this event at 12.00 and 15.30.

Last night we played an energetic show at Highlands, IJsselstein and placed ourselves for the finals of the IJsselpop band competition! This means we’ll be coming back to Highlands in June, where 4 out of 8 finalists will be chosen to play at the IJsselpop festival this summer.

The night was cold and the music loud, last Saturday in Sojos, Maartensdijk. Here the new Ametheon line-up played a short set during the band competition Het geheim van Maartensdijk. A perfect chance to introduce two of our new songs: Midnight Pilgrims and The Key. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the finals, but still a very good night indeed. Ametheon is whole again. Our ranks are complete, and now our new members are ready to perform. On november 29th we had a small tryout celebrating our bassists birthday in Delft. The audience was very excited.

It took a long while to find a suiting singer. But after all this time auditioning we finally found our new singer Hiekelien v.d. Herik (Hiek). We found Hiek through Michiel. Hiek is the former lead singer of Souls of Symphony. She has the voice and experiance we were looking for. Besides her singing capabilities she is also an excelent writer, so new songs are on the way. We are looking forward to work with her and of course with Michiel

After a few weeks of auditions for vocalists and guitarists Michiel de Brieder came in to audition as lead singer. Because we weren't really looking for a male lead singer, we offered him a position as guitarist.

Before he came to Ametheon he was guitarist and vocalist for Souls of Symphony. Come and see us and hear Michiel rock his eart out.
